Subject: Amnesty Protocol, at Treaty of Lausanne 1923 - was a lost opportunity to prosecute those crimes against ... humanity
This is real heavy documented stuff.
The Neo-Turks commited a lot of war crimes against anyone who wasnt a Muslim. They did a real and fully organized ... by the Germans, ethnic cleansing over their own population (i do not call them as citizens, because all ppeople were objects of the Sultan), not only the Greeks nad Armenians but all the Christian population in the whole empire, including Assyrians and Yezidi.
This is emotionaly heavy historical reading and it is comparable to what the Nazi's did also, in many ways.
It's a shame that many Turks and the state of Turkey, can't face the truth regarding their history, while allready at 1915 was decided to declare the genocide that was done by the Turks, but in the Amnesty Protocol, at Treaty of Lausanne 1923 - was a lost opportunity to prosecute those crimes against humanity.

Abstract
Declaration of Amnesty in the Treaty of Lausanne 1923: a lost opportunity for the first prosecution of crimes against humanity
